if i’m not riding bicycles through Paris, i’m going to show you bicycles of Paris. there’s quite a bicycle scene here as you see all types and all ages riding around on two wheels. what i love about Paris’s bicycle infrastructure is that they have a bike lane separated from traffic and plenty of signs to guide you through. i constantly get bicycle envy as i’m still on the hunt for one. most of the time i see the Velib being used by tourist and locals, while you’ll also find other bike types too, cycling through the city seems to be pretty much like San Francisco, and we all know what a challenge that presents, exciting though. i’m always surprised to see a lycra clad speeding through traffic, i suppose i should expect that with the Tour de France season, which i will be on Champes-Elysees to cheer them in! the photo above is an instagram taken on rue Lafayette in the 9th and 10t arr.
i assure you that although my adventures are plenty and heavy in walking, i’ll have that bike to make Paris my oyster soon, very soon.
